Frequently asked questions
The questions that come up in almost every introduction call, with the same answers given there. Honest, so sometimes different from the sales talk elsewhere.
What does SEO with Romano cost?
Ongoing collaborations are €12.50 per hour, cancellable monthly. One-off projects such as standalone audits and coaching cost €45 per hour. A complete audit costs €90 to €360 depending on the size of the website. All rates are published openly on the rates page.
How quickly does SEO deliver results?
Serious SEO shows clear movement after four to six months and keeps compounding after that. Anyone promising position 1 within 30 days is lying or using techniques that will sooner or later earn a penalty. If you need results next week, run ads instead.
What is GEO and does my business need it?
GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is visibility in AI systems such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. More and more customers ask their AI assistant for recommendations. GEO builds on a solid SEO foundation; without that foundation, start there first.
Does Romano work with contracts or lock-ins?
Ongoing collaborations are cancellable monthly. No annual contracts, no silent renewals. The results should be the reason to stay, not the signature.
Does Romano guarantee rankings?
No, and distrust anyone who does. Nobody controls Google or ChatGPT. What is possible: a realistic estimate up front, transparent work and monthly numbers that show whether it is working.
Who does the actual work?
Romano himself. No account managers, no juniors, no outsourcing to low-wage countries. The same person from the introduction call does the research, writes the content and builds the links.
Why only six campaigns per year?
Quality requires attention and attention cannot be divided endlessly. Hence a maximum of six holistic campaigns at a time. Full is full; waiting or starting with a smaller project is always possible.
Does SEO also work for small businesses and freelancers?
Especially for them. Low overhead keeps the rates within reach, and in niche markets a modest budget often wins surprisingly much because the competition there does very little.
What does reporting look like?
Monthly, in plain language, tied to visitors, leads and revenue. No dashboard full of vague metrics. If you do not understand your own numbers you are paying for a black box, and that is exactly what does not happen here.
Where does Romano work from?
As a digital nomad: sometimes from Brielle in the Netherlands, sometimes from a tropical location. It makes no difference to the collaboration; meetings run over video calls and results count, not office hours.
